LOVE YOUR BOOBAGE

Love your boobs. He loves them and they should bring you joy too.

Start looking after them at an early age. Always wear sunblock on your chest area (the thinnest skin on our body and the most susceptible to sunspots and burst capillaries).

Jacqueline Bisset started the wet t-shirt craze with this hot look in the 1977 film The Deep. At 65 (pictured below) she still looks amazing with a flawless decolletage. ICON ALERT!!!

ICON ALERT!!! JACQUELINE BISSET. [LITTLE KNOWN FACT: SHE IS ANGELINA JOLIE'S GODMOTHER]

Massage beautiful ointments onto your boobs like rose oil with a jojoba or cold-pressed almond oil base or Elemis Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment (so thick and creamy, it's simply delicious to apply).  The Elemis product is my favourite over-the-counter department store brand with day-spa flagships in London, Miami and Hong Kong. It's what I recommend to my girlfriends who are still a bit suss on complete botannicals (they call "hippie"). Elemis fits their image as it combines cutting-edge technology with botannicals, stylish packaging and price. From exclusive salons, lavish cruise line spas to some of the world's luxurious 5-star spa resorts, Elemis (an English company) has an amazing range you can find on www.timetospa.com.

The BeautyPunk gold star goes to Tinderbox Beautiful Breast Massage Oil. Seriously amazing with it's exoticasensual scents of frankincense, lemongrass, ylang-ylang and geranium. Yum! It's made from plant oils to protect the skin's elasticity, firm, tone and stimulate cell renewal. This makes regular self-examination of your precious boobies such a delightful experience and it's less than $A20. Great investment. Go to www.cheekyherbs.com

In France my facials always include chest and boobs (decolletage and bust). You are asked if you would like this included in your facial. For some reason, in Australia, America and England, beauticians don't include the boobs. Why not? Some prudish hang-up from Queen Victoria's era? This is not an erotic lesbian experience between therapist and client. The bust is part of your body and needs to be cared for. And loved. A full body massage should also include the bust area. Ask your personal trainer to explain to you the anatomy of your bust muscles.

Perk up your pecs by lifting your arms up and pressing your palms together, concentrating on squeezing your bust muscles together. That's one easy and effective exercise to do at home.

Don't use any aluminium under-arm deodorants. Who can even consider spraying on such an evil ingredient onto an area where your vital lymph glands meet your mammary glands?! Everything you put on your skin gets absorbed into your system. Look at the ingredients on your deodorant, if it says aluminium, ditch it immediately.  Your underarm area is right next to your bust. Find an alternative product. This includes your guy too. Look after him.

Incidentally, I went on the Time magazine website and noticed that the highest rate of breast cancer in the world is in most western countries. I don't understand Uruguay in the top 10, but take a look at this list:
  1. America 101.1 (Age-standardized incidence rate per 100,000)
  2. France 91.9
  3. French Guyana 91.9
  4. Israel 90.8
  5. Iceland 90
  6. Denmark 88.7
  7. Sweden 87.8
  8. United Kingdom 87.2
  9. Australia 83.2
  10. Uruguay 83.1
  11. Germany 79.8
  12. Italy 74.4
  13. Argentina 73.9
Then the results go right down to Mexico 26.4 with Africa, China, India, Saudi Arabia all under 20. I wonder why?

  2. A note on the statistics, I think that the more in-the-know countries have more ready available information on such things, hence why you will find such diversity. If there were a global statistic measurement, you might find a very different answer? Then again, I could be wrong. Hx

  4. Heidi, perhaps diet is a big part in the western world. I'm sure we have more dairy than poorer countries. Don't you think? xx
